my daughter’s boyfriend is an idiot
she comes home for winter break. i’m sending her to u.n.c, so why, please answer, does she come home so without a clue. the boyfriend is an idiot. and this is how i know. we all go for dinner at lopez. now you must understand that emily(daughter) has been a regular @10 times a year since she was 5 years old and we want to impress the boyfriend. he lives in n.y.c. and well - just imagine a guy that trys to imitate jon stewart but thinks like jeb bush. follow? he (after 4 margaritas) atempts to tell me why emily is so special. like i need this. i held it in, maybe out of respect for emily and for lopez. then he says that lopez is “JUST OK”. i know right then that the idiot must be removed from the picture. we argue and my wife is embarressed of course. emily has broken up just this week. i’m very happy. for 40 g’s /year i want her to at least bring home a nice guy. i guess that the dinner at lopez saved her and the famil;y much grief. it’s much more than a restaurant - it’s a food clinic — harvey from shaker heights
